During my stay, I found the room to be really comfy and clean, which was a pleasant surprise. The owner was super helpful, and I especially enjoyed the selection of breakfast cereals and the coffee machine in the morning. While it was a bit of a trek to find food options, the property has a kitchen if you're up for cooking. I was there to explore the nearby Balquhidder Church Ruins and Loch Lubnaig, which were both worth the visit!

WiFi had a strong connection. the room lacked heating, leaving it quite cold, especially for Scotland at the end of September. The shared bathroom door required force to close and open, which was frustrating. My room, supposedly with wheelchair access, had a shower over a bath and inadequate space for clothing. The initial confusion about the entrance was annoying—no clear signage made it challenging to find the way in. Despite the friendly host, I felt the facilities didn't meet the advertised standards.

I loved the serenity of staying in such a remote location that felt completely immersed in nature, perfect for lovely walks in the stunning Trossachs National Park. Even after ringing multiple doorbells, I was left outside for an extended period, which was incredibly irritating, especially with the cold weather. the room I received, billed as wheelchair accessible, was a disappointment. it had a shower over the bath and a shared kitchen that didn’t meet my expectations for space or convenience.

You know, the hosts were amazing! ! They let us use a whole room for our wedding flower setup. The bedrooms were comfy and the shared kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast. It felt like home, seriously.
